About Us
In partnership with the Tanzania Media Foundation (TMF), Afyatoon is initiating a digital Collaborative story ideation platform to link journalists to health experts to facilitate AMR based story collaboration.
As a journalist or student of journalism, this platform will give you collaborators for your publications ranging from online content, newspaper articles to scripts for documentaries and commentaries around health-related topics with an initial focus on antimicrobial resistance. These collaborators are renowned health experts under the Afyatoon team and beyond.
As a health expert, thgis platform will provide you will a tool to communicate your scientific findings or finding from other scientist around different health related topics with an initial focus on antimicrobial resistance to the rest of the Tanzanian community through students of journalism or journalists practicing in Tanzania.
Regardless of whether you are a health expert or Journalist, all you need to do is register onto the platform and start your writing journey towards collaborative story ideation with others. We at Afyatoon will help you moderate the link.
Here is how you can start?
Register for Free
Click Register for Free, enter your Username, Email, and Password, then Sign Up (or Log In if you already have an account).
Go to Home Page
After logging in, go to Pages > Home.
Start New Story
Click the Plus (+) sign at the top left on the Home page.
Enter Story Details
Fill in the Title, Introduction (up to 20 words), and Body sections.
Draft or Paste Content
Write directly or paste content from a saved document.
Save and Send for Moderation
Click the arrow next to Save as Draft to submit or save to finish later.
Edit Drafts Later
Log in, go to Home, and click your draft’s Title to continue.
Submit and Collaborate
Once approved, your story is ready for collaboration.
